The Wii is perfectly fine as it is. It fills a niche of fun, party games that you play with a group of friends rather then the stuff you do when nobody else is around. Nintendo totally got it right.
The only real thing you could do would be make it easier to play games like smash without having to get out a gamecube controler and give it better graphics.
