Well you see I use to love this game. I would play at least 4 hours a day every day. I had two accounts one lvl 96 who got hacked than permad, and a lvl 85 who got hacked....So I was wondering, is starting all over really worth it?

Runescape is fun on the start , but if you playing it a while its getting really stupid + people will say your stupid if they hear you play it, i suggest you to stop now!
I play a bit of Runescape on the free version. It's quite good fun, in moderation, and as you progress the different things you can do become better. Unlike WoW, RuneScape is free-that is why people play it. My character is a level 53 meleer by the way. Not very high, but I enjoy playing it, which is what matters. I think that if you are worried about bots, make your account secure-that is to say set recovery questions, give jagex your email, set a bank PIN, and so on. That way the chances of your account getting haacked are much lower, and if it is hacked you can quite simply carry on with minimal loss of items (35 at the most) and all your skills the same. Since HD came out, the graphics aren't so bad as to make you get frustrated and, to be honest, the only point of playing any game is if you enjoy it! The main thing that makes it fun, however, is playing it with friends. From real life. Then, you can have a conversation while playing the game. When you can't think of what to say, play the game, when you have run outof things to talk about, talk about the game. You can go on quests and do boss fights together, or skill together, or....there are a lot of possibiliteies. I would say that as a game it is well worth trying, but the experience is much more fun with real life friends. And you may even make a couple of online friends along the way. Joining a clan may be fun, if you have the time, or even just becoming a member of a talking clan could be fun. It's well worth trying. But if you don't like it, you can leave.
