I post this because in my thoughts I say that AG is actually coming to a end. Many high ranked or well know players are quitting, some of the mods are not on here as much as they used to be {example Calm}, and things are starting to be taken away from the abuse of users {chat rooms}. So I am just thinking that AG is coming to its downfall. What do you think?

how about you try to contribute to the site. and there would be a point of having armorgames if there were no talking its called i dont know GAMING. and no talking is not neccessary for armorgames. i seem to recall a just plain armorgames and even a site before that. plus they arent have "fun" they are trying to get a gold king so they can feel good about themselves.
almost all of the original or beta testers have completely left the site

AHEM There's ME!!!!!
And me....I am still here. Only just though....I have been debating whether to leave or not...I have been so busy lately...I have been here since Day 1 of Beta....and I don't really want to leave.....but maybe I have to...

@Lord Bob - But you haven't been here the WHOLE time have you? I can tell this by you ranking, if you had been here since Day 1 like me you would probably have more points.

Also, it is true out of the 6 Community Moderators, only 2 have not got a message in their about saying that they will not be on here very much.

AG will never come to an end, but if it slowly loses Popularity, it may end up like the old community on the old AG website. Non-Existent....

AG needs some fresh members, people who will bring the site back to life. People like DrakoKirby, for example - he has at least breathed some life back into the forums.

Obviously this is a hurdly that as a community we need to overcome....

Hey bunnyhop...why dont you just stay out of this...that really had nothing to do with anything that we were disscussing about.

And gwood there does have to be talking. How else would you get points when you are done rating the games? What we are doing right now is talking...so this wouldnt be aloud. all you would be able to do was rate, comment, and play games. Sounds like it would get old pretty quick...

wolf the only way a mod would be mean, annoying or bossy would be if you broke a rule......

this is a gaming site not a forum site. the forum was only ADDED because the owners felt like it. again there were 2 sites before this and neither of them had a forum or profiles and they did fine. The points system is also a added bonus. and if you get tired of playing games on a game site how about you go outside. duh

@kingryan
I joined around 12/24/07 beta site was made around 11/15/07 so I was about a month late. (you can check the beta site im there, but I'm not as active as used to be)

but my stand stays, if AG continues to host good games it will never die, the worst will be that games like Fancy Pants and the last stand will only be on AG not anywhere else.

Well im not going to argue with anyone anymore. AG is slowely getting to its end. PPL are quitting, spam is getting greater, mods are lessening, and things are being taken away. That is how it is and i say that if the ADMINS dotn get it together and start getting some mods that actually do things and come on then AG will be a ghost site in less than 2 years.

+Many high ranked users are quitting because they were on the site a lot, and when you do something that much it might get old.
+Some high ranked users also quit because they spammed, and got caught for it. So some quit, and some decided that they didn't like losing points for spamming and left.
+Some of the mods have had things to do and have been busy. Quite a few have been away, but are coming back. Mods are people too, and they have things to do sometimes ;-)
+The chat room was just a big mistake. They tried it, and it didn't work. No biggie.

I assure you Armor Games is not coming to an end ;-)

Wait, are you talking about the end of Armor Games, or the end of the Armor Games forum? Because the AG Forums are virtually brand new and definately a work in progress. I don't know of any online...anything, that worked perfectly from day one. Not only that but give the mods a little more credit. I for one have seen Asherlee lock three threads within a minute or two. Unless you've modded on a similar site, then you don't know what the mods have to deal with. Not only that but Asherlee, Carlie, and Moe are three examples of mods (well...it looks like Carlie is now an Admin) that I see active on the Debate Forums. Very active.

But, if you mean the end of Armor Games, then come on. One online community isn't going to end the developement of flash games. AG has made such an impression in the flash game industry that I don't see them fading away any time soon.

Thanks for the support Eyes Personally, I have been working on the site all day, answering users questions, posting in and cleaning up the forums, etc. I have seen asherlee, ubertuna, dank, devoidless, and moegreche all online today. It may not always be very obvious that we are on the site and working on things, but that doesn't mean that we aren't. We are kind of quiet about getting stuff done and taking care of things. So you may not see us, but we are there... *disappears into the shadows waving hands ominously*
