I post this because in my thoughts I say that AG is actually coming to a end. Many high ranked or well know players are quitting, some of the mods are not on here as much as they used to be {example Calm}, and things are starting to be taken away from the abuse of users {chat rooms}. So I am just thinking that AG is coming to its downfall. What do you think?
just type in a random name at the end of www.armorgames.com/user/(name) your most likely gonna get an account with 2 AP
i hate that the chat room is gone now you have to post to talk and you can't comment like "hey whats up" because you have no idea when that comment is going to be replied to on your profile and its against the rules to "spam" that on profiles! i hate being patient!! I do not want this to become like a gated community with 20 cops (mods and admins) on guard watching for every little spam. All of you people who think spams the worst thing ever E.X when you say "hi" to your mom 10 times, just to annoy her, who is talking to your dad that would be considered spam on AG.
have you ever considered its fun to play around with rule-breakers
@ Graham: It it about a happy medium. You are a one of those people who can post intelligent things AND casually chat with someone in a format that may be considered spam. Other people will post SOLELY (or mostly) spammy casual comments. But in order to be fair the mods have to say that comments that are short or devoid of thought are spam. That takes care of all those losers who are posting stupid things for the sake of points, but leaves those who aren't intentionally spamming...well, out of luck. I guess what I am getting at is there is a point at which the rules can't (or shouldn't) bend any further.
I, personally, think that the mods aren't being too overbearing. They are cracking down on those who are posting stupid things, for points, or things that have already been asked/talked about, BUT being lenient enough to allow some (occasionally spammy) casual posts/comments. If they go too far in either direction they will be criticized; people will be complaining that it is too spammy or not spammy enough.
@eyes i noticed they are lenient which is good (but if you get them mad it seems like they will try every way to get you banned.) I'm just ranting on those tattle-talers that have to post everytime they report someone "I'm reporting you for spamming!!!"
Well, I have to disagree when you say they will try to get you banned. I guess the only way to have an opinion on that is if you've witnessed it, but I have seen mods lock a topic and add "Let's continue this on profiles." Instead of just saying "Don't do it again," they really talk with them about what they did. But again, you may have seen something different.
And yes, the tattlers get annnoying, but my advice is take solace in the fact that when (or if) they inform the mods, they can see pretty quickly if it is serious or they are just being a tattle-tale. Not only that, but if they are being a tattle-tale you shouldn't care about them or anyone who would believe them. The prase I think of is "Live above the influence." Lawl...
