I have a very "unusual" way to make it less blurry.

You can either make the image in Illustrator or the free Inkscape (vector images) using on pixel sized dot and then scale within the program, export, and upload. This would be somewhat difficult.

Or, what I did, was use GIMP (or Photoshop). Make the image with a 1 pixel brush. It will be very small. So zoom in on the image in GIMP (or Photoshop) and make sure the image fits within the viewable area of your screen.Then print screen (Prnt Scrn button on PCs). Then paste the image back into the image editor. Crop out the unwanted portions and save or export the image, upload, and post.

That how I did mine at least.

When you resize images in GIMP you should be able to choose the kind of interpolation you want to be applied. If you choose "no interpolation" the squares will remain squares and they won't be blurred.

'Ere you go.



I actually kind of prefer the blurry version, but it doesn't really fit in with the other entries. Perhaps that's why I like it.

I thought I had posted here already, but it seems I lost the post. Judging will not be in the style of "I Want to See Your Mental Poop" as I will not be analyzing any sort of Mental Poop. This will be more like "Draw That Pokemon!"

Nereus had a tough time choosing between the two finalist, but first, the awards in alphabetical order of the award, just to trip everyone up.

Nereus felt big and tough and wanted to smash things.

Coconutty - light_chaser

Nereus felt loopy after being light_chaser's pixels.

Evil MasterMind Award - ChromeDeathRazor

Nereus felt deliciously evil as a MissingNo. He was and wasn't a monkey at he same time.

Grumpy Monkey Award - HecticHermit

Nereus felt grumpy and evil when he was Mojo Jojo, but that may have something to do with being stretched to three times his size just to cover all the pixels used.

Happy Faic Award - aknerd

Nereus felt really energized and ready to do anything!

Looks Like a Mazzelh Award - kegaumongo

Nereus felt cute and happy and filled with anticipation for someone to play with.

Looks Like a Dog Award - MagicTree

Nereus felt cute and fluffy but confused.

Mental Poop Award - Reton8

Nereus felt stinky and dirty.

Pancake Award - MrDayCee

Nereus felt hungry for pancakes when he was MrDayCee's pixels, pancakes shaped like a monkey's face!

Sad Faic Award - Ernie15

Nereus felt sad and he didn't know why.

So what did Nereus like best? Nereus likes being a big tough gorilla! gaboloth choose the next theme!

Mine sort of reminds me of toamagotchi, it's all those virtual pets would do.

I thought Nereus would enjoy being a Ghost now.
I also thought that it would have been better if I asked Gantic if he liked the theme and if he really wanted me to announce it, but then I thought the thread had waited some time already and didn't want to stop the action.

I have no excuse.

it is tiny, and it looks bad when I scale it up, I might have another version I can do though.
