i think macs are better. safari runs much faster than any internet browser on the market. their laptops are phenomenal (i'm using my ibook g4 right now) I wanna hear your opinion on this subject!
I prefer most Mac programs and devices, but I would like to point out that they are currently about $200 above most of the market. I run in Microsoft for my computer, but really don't use programs unless necessary. The only things I use are Word, Paint, Messenger, and Media Player.
What you said in your post about Safari is not entirely correct. I used to use Safari for my Windows, and although it may be slower than on Mac, it is nothing compared to firefox, and any other branch attached to firefox. This brings up a whole new topic. The fact the Mozilla made firefox, not Microsoft.
Overall, I prefer Microsoft, only because I had a bad experience with a Mac. I accidentally deleted my iTunes, which was all I used. And then I deleted all the files I "didn't need." Pretty much, everything is gone xD.
i really feel you man. i use itunes alot. xD anyway, i think that the reason that safari ran slow on your microsoft is beacause macintosh created that program like all of it's programs and was designed for macintosh. macintosh and windows operating system are different and that is why i think it didn't work very fast on your comp JaGgEdGe. thanks for posting!
I prefer mac, although many games are not supported on macs many mainstream games do (e.g. Age of Empires). I also play mostly flash games so it works out. Everything else is awesome, I find iMovie to be much better then Windows movie maker, and the money saved fron Virus protection lets me get games for my mac.
Although they are expensive they last the longest, my friend has kept his mac ON for FIVE YEARS and it has never froze or crashed.
I happen to use my computer for games. And rather that run two OS on one computer, I use a PC. It's also more asthetically pleasing than a Mac. OSX just has a bland brushed-metal theme that gets old quick. Don't get me wrong, Macs are good computers, but I perfer PC's. (partly because PC are actually worth they price you pay for them)
Microsoft because mac now only takes ideas from MS, no inovation whatsoever. No stability, no use no configuration, user unfriendly work delaying OS that looks ugly. Only thing that makes you say mac is better is fanatizm, i used to like macs then i got my first windows it was windows XP, and then i never looked back at macs, which i had plenty from mac classic OS7.0 then centrino OS 7.5 then ppc8500 Os8.1 later Os9.0 and G4 OSX So i think i know mac and windows too. I've worked with both for years and i can clearly say that i find windows much much better. That thing is not as fast as windows, and those animations that you cant turn off? How you supposed to work with it? Control panel? That is one mess, and you cant set anything there. Bah whatever use what you like, but dont say crap about MS! It is good now and Bill is one damn good programmer and CEO. BTW Ballmer is CEO now so who don't know that well you should be removed from internet.
