My favorite character in anything is Guts from Berserk (Manga/Anime/Game in Japan) He's got a Giant sword that he can swing around as if it was a stick, he demolishes demons every night due to a curse mark on his neck that draws them to him, and he is on a quest for revenge against the person that betrayed him. His name is different depending on where you live and what language you are using Guts/Gatsu/Gatts.

I think it would be the hobbits from the LoTR the return of the king, because its one of the first times in history that you can play as a kicka$$ midget with a knife >.<

i can't pick one but my favorites are dante from dmc 3 because he's such a smart as* and can back his smart ass remarks up. Master Cheif kus he's just awsome in every way possible Nero from dmc 4 I dont kno why he's just awsome and Jak and Daxter from all the Jak games because Jak does all the work and Daxter takes all the credit.
