What in your opinion is the best game ever! It can be any game at all a computer game, an Xbox game a DS game a WII game a PSP Game any game at all that you think is the best
Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. Real weapons, great aiming system, great strategy/stealth/teamwork concept, and probably the most realistic damage system you're gonna find... and it's for Windows 98.
I think nearly every game that someone has said i have had down the line... And practiacally loved em all. But for my Absolute favourite it has to be Final fantasy 7 - best storyline ever, best gameplay, and awesome graphics for its time, played it again just the other day and still thoroughly enjoyed it. (Resident evil 4 is amazing tho )
None of you are serious are you? How can you declare a greatest game of all time by naming a newer game (most of you using one that's part of a series, meaning that the game will be replaced in the next 2-5 years) that has yet to show any ability to last the test of time?
I don't mean to flame, but let me give my opinions on some of these:
Halo 3: Fun... but it's a shooter, and shooters always get replaced.
GTA(all): Biggest running gimmick in gaming at this time.
Super Smash Bros(All): Decent, but who knows if it will last.
Call Of Duty 4: Are you kidding me?
Imperia 2: Not my taste, but I like the way you think Guitar Hero: Another gimmick that most likely will die, just like DDR.
Full Metal Soccer: just go away please (Mods, I'm sorry, but if you know what it is, you were thinking it too.)
Original Unreal: influential indeed. I can't argue that it was a turning point. But an FPS none the less.
Zelda Ocarina: I like the way you think too.
Hitman Blood Money: FPS=No
Super Street Fighter 2: I like the way you're thinking as well
FF VII: As much as I love it, I can't give it the win.
My personal choices(so that this doesn't appear to be just a bashing, because it was me being honest) are as follows:
Since there are so many series mentioned, my choice for best series is Tekken. That is person favoritism only, I know it could never actually be concidered the greatest ever.
Best game ever, because it never gets old: Tetris.
Don't know if I went to far in this post, but I will understand if I did mods, I just ask for a warning on this one please if it was.
dude everyone is allowed to get their opignion, everybody has their own choice plus tekken is even worse then all the game you said above so dont start bashing when you like a game that is also like on their 5th and when the point is just to beat an opponent in a area (tell me if im getting the wrong game) but just dont start telling people that the game they like suks, you can say that you dont like it but...
Armor games is the greatest,although i like the Grand Theft Auto games, they are always fun, and eaven after all missions are complete yo still can't get borred with the killing and roaming the city at your own speed.
