I would have to say runescape is better cause you can walk around like every where and the members features are awesome and with the new graphics it is a lot better so if someone is going to be chosing runescape or maplestory i would say to chose runescape cause its a whole lot better trust me and plus you have to download maplestory i think i am pretty sure you do
and now you dont have to be a member to use graphics it was only beta they are done with beta so they let free players use it now but it has a tiny download that is better than maplestory by a long shot

But at least dowloading it is better than paying $5 a month for full access... btw, you download (but not permentately) in Runescape to get to other areas of RS
I'd say Maple Story. It has a lot of players on everyday. It has about 10 Worlds with 20 servers. It is updated almost every week, has new NX Cash items every week as well and has cool classes. The quests are a bit messed up and the price things are messed up too but it's still decent.
Runescape has way better graphic's and stuff and you don't have you download a game that looks like a little kid game
Ummm dude, MS is an asian game compared to RS which is a game where you get ur skills up and other things.... btw, i sorta think the new graphics arent that much of an improvement >_<
