Thanks, I have another site to bookmark. The idea of a video game wiki and news site seems good. I still go with Gamespot, since I never knew what Giant Bomb was until a few minutes ago. I prefer IGN over Gamespot btw.
I find it amazing that old threads from 2008 got hundreds, or even thousands of view, even though they had only a dozen posts or so. That makes it somewhat predicatble whether you are dealing with an ancient revived thread or not.
Surprised he revived his own thread after a year of inactivity and two years since creation. How do all these newbs find all these old threads? Do they really spend the time looking?
I just realized the aforementioned right now.
For my cheats I used Gamespot and its affiliates and cheatscodesguides.com which is an IGN site. For news I go to a favorite blog of mine, IGN and Kotaku.
I use GameSpot for reviews, game footage, etc. and I use Eurogamer for all my news because they hire some pretty good writers.
I did use Giant Bomb for a little bit but I found GameSpot had a much larger community and was a bit more organised. For news I used to use N4G (News for Gamers) but they simplified the stories a lot and then you'd have to visit some random website for the entire article.
