well i really dont like ethier types of games but if i had to choose it would be football games because i like football better and i think madden games are better than nba games.

I say...neither! If you are too lazy to go see an actual sports game or, god forbid, play it you do not deserve to breathe. That...and the whole idea of this thread makes my head ache.

The mechanics are usually developed bettern in the football games. Your player sometimes appears as though he moves unrealistically in basketball games. The football games not only give you total control, but allow you to use your knowledge of the game to crush opponents, not leave it in the hands of whether or not you hit the green spot on the shooting meter

This depends... Are you talking about american football or european football? If American I choose football, but if european I'd go with basketball.

i like the booth sport but basketball is better video game

xD, I like football, I play it, just not the V games, I love Basket Ball video games though.
