mario will never get old if u havent realized mario is always getting different game themes.other than that mario is a classic because mario is a game that does not take to much skill to play and have fun

Mario is a great game. They have just been targeting younger audiences dumbing mario down. The last good Mario game was galaxy, and before that sunshine, and the N64 had the last continuous series of good mario games (those are always fun, mo matter how old you are.) Mario kart and Party are in the middle. Always good games, but rarely phenominal.

MARIO GAMES ROCK!!! I just find that the older games are better. Newer games are stretching and disforming the storyline. They should end mario now while it's still good before they modernize the story to no return.

mario games are great! Some are a bit dull, but when a new GOOD one comes out its just classic. Same with super smash bros.

Mario is getting old, and so is samus, star fox, donkey kong, link, and any other trademarked Nintendo character that has been beaten to death.
