Ok well I would have to say Slayer is my favorite band because of it's controversial lyrics. And Kerry King's intense guitar playing.

It's a close second with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I know it's quite a transition, but I like them both.

Well since it actually says "band" I'm guessing solo artists like B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and Jonny Lang are out.

So my favorite band would have to be Pink Floyd. I have every one of their albums that has original music on it. In other words, I don't have any of their 3 or 4 greatest hits type albums, but I have every song they made.
