OK guys i have the opprotunity to pick the ps3 or the xbox 360, now don't just say 360, i want the good and the bad about both systems, don' say that the 360 has halo 3 and ps3 does not. So please help.
Xbox 360 has good games, but lower graphics than the PS3. The xbox is cheaper, but PS3 has a better online network. It really depends on what you want to do.
This is a FAQ(frequently asked question)and I can't tell you which one you should buy.here is some up's and down's of each though.
X box 360 Pros:more exclusive games,and a larger community of players for online play,and its cheaper. Cons:The internet cost money, and you can't surf the web,and there is always the risk of the red rings of death which means you would have to wait for a month to get it fixed
PS3 Pros:It has a blu-ray DVD player,it has free internet,you can surf the web, and no worry's of buying it broken. Cons:less exclusive games,it cost more money,and a smaller online community.

Also there is no real difference in the graphics.People like to say that alot though.It technically has better graphics,but you will barely notice it, unless you have a really good TV.
Look, I'll tell you why I am getting the PS3 instead of the 360. 1. It doubles as a Blu-Ray Player 2. It costs the same as a Blu-Ray player 3. The graphics are better on most games
Three reason I might regret getting the PS3 are:
1. It overheats often 2. The system more money 3. The games cost more money
Also PS3 online is free but worse than the Xbox Live feature.
Whoa, Zain, you better look out. Most people who say PS3 own one, and want to justify the name. I own neither, and I've played both, so my opinion is pretty untainted. The PS3 does have BluRay, but if you're only a casual movie-watcher, the difference from DVD to BluRay isn't that good, and you'll have to buy brand new movies. PS3 does have Resistance, which is getting a sequel soon, and they also have UnCharted: Drakes Fortune, GTA 4, and a few other games, so don't be worried about game quality. The internet is free, and you can surf the web on it, so that's a big plus. As for the X-Box 360, I'm not too sure whether it plays DVDs, but you have a DVD player anyways, don't you? As for games, it has Halo 3, GTA 4, and a considerable amount of high quality games, compared the PS3. But don't let Halo 3 sway you, it's essentially the same as every other shooter game on the market. Unless you're insane about graphics, and can't live without the best, the 360s graphics aren't that much worse than the PS3, I can't tell the difference. However you do have to pay for X-Box Live, even though it's only 5 dollars a month. As for online audience, due to the superior sales of the 360, there will be more people on with 360. No internet surfing on the 360, though. Yes, there is a "Circle of Death" on the 360, but PS3 owners are quick to jump on that and use it in their favor. They aren't immune from these problems, though. Theres a "Yellow Light of Death" on the PS3, which is just as bad as the Circle, but it's a well kept secret. Essentially, having the Yellow Light is worse than the Circle, because people are willing to admit they have the Circle, and you'll get help faster. I'd personally pick a 360, but that's my unbiased explanation of the two.
