NEITHER!

Both are painful and unbearable. I'd rather read silently to myself with another person ALSO reading silently to themself.

If I had to choose though, I'd rather listen, that way I don't have to do anything but zone in and out =D

if the peson speaking would enunciate, I would listen. I run out of breath when I read out loud and I don't like to read too much.

I enjoy actually reading aloud to someone, rather than listening to someone read.

(it tends to make me sleepy)
