I live in Belgium and a few months ago there was a kid (14 years old) Who played 14 days on WoW without sleeping, drinking energy drinks and other stuff to stay awake.
And that guy ended in the hospital for a pretty long time...
No its usually the kids are deprived from the game so they want to play it more when they have the opportunity like when school starts I won't be able to go on Ag that much but when weekend roll around I'll spend the whole day or here.
My Anti-addiction to WoW is no money.I never played the game so I never really bothered with it,but this game has been known to cause some extreme addictions before.I remember this one group of parents left their baby at home planning to only stay at a online cafe for a little bit,but lost track of time, and when they got home the baby was dead from malnourishment or something and they got arrested for it.This is a serious issue.
To judge addiction you really have to experience it. It may sound stupid, and it probably is, but you will never really understand what addiction feels like until it has happened to you. Anyway, I still think the fact that you can be that addicted to die from something is crazy, as are the people that manage to get addicted. I really hate those people who play full time games. I try to monitor my gaming time. Unlike one of my friends that plays. Continuously.
