Hello and welcome!

This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!

Competition Rules
1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified.
2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged.
3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off.
4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week.
5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.

This is (hopefully) davidlw's picture....... you ahve to use the image button not the Link button. [img ] and [ /img] (without the spaces between the brackets) should be either side of your post.

Soooo not my fault :P davidlw for some reason the picture yout ried to use doesn't exist (according to photobucket) so iof this version of the pic doesn't work I give in lol.

I can't even remember the deadline, but I think it is today. Made 600 dollars in 2 weeks of work. Got me a new ps3 (BronzeMartin on PSN). So sorry for the crappy judging this round, I gotta fit this into playing my new system, watching kids, and doing some homework.

Winner - Kirb-E

Kirby, I love the vivid colours. The contrast of the crab and blue ocean really caught my eye. Nice colouring of the crab and the water. Though far from perfect, it was quite the eye candy

2nd - manny65965674453

Manny, manny. I hate to tell you this, but you're other one probably would of had first. But this one was quite good too. Work on your lines a little, remove any unneeded marks, but otherwise it was very imaginative and well done.

3rd - The maker of fine cheeses

Hey it did get in the top 3. Looks like you put some effort into it and you are thusly (is that a word?) rewarded. Pretty good colouring but still plenty of room for improvement, working on your blending some more. You had some nice shading mixed in there, but it was inconsistent. Anywho, Great Job!

Next theme is one that Cen picks (can I do that?).
Whatever it is, it will be due in 2 weeks.

If Cen doesn't want to pick the theme, then I'll suggest Gunfight for it.

Other notes....
-This is my first post in about 2 weeks :O (been hard working for 2 weeks.
-Shout out to hectichermit WOOOOOOOOOOOO
-And thanks to all the other entries as well.

I hope that Cen agrees to gunfight as the theme because I just made a base for an awesome stickman!! I'll make two give them guns and ... and.. and something.

Also I was surprised you said that because I thought the first looked like everything was on a diffrent sheet of paper suck on top!

Preferably not.
