This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!
Competition Rules 1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified. 2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged. 3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off. 4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week. 5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.
I would do this if I didn't have anything better than ametuer skills in paint. P.S. Apocolypse, that is the most awesome name I've seen in a while. . . .sides mine of course ^-^U.
I know what they are silly but like how would you have an art competition on watches?Maybe jewelerry or something.
You clearly have no idea how creative a watch can be made. I actually think that is an absolutely awesome theme suggestion, and I know some of the entries could be absolutely beautiful.
So please, stop questioning the judging. Cholokid would not have won if he did not excel over everyone else in a certain category. This week, that category happened to be the lulz.
I wasn't questioning the judging. Just saying I liked LonLon's better. My humor isn't tuned in on Chuck Norris and it was a skewed vesion of the theme (just like mine (that also should have gone after LonLon's in the judging (just my opinion (I use too many brackets)))), so I never really got the joke in CholoKid's, thus I like something else better. But it's all up to Strop, and I am sure he does his best in giving a fair judging.
Also, good job Apocalypse, nice choice of colours and font. ^^
Arf. You can has sketch. I still think the idea I have for this one is the best idea I've gotten all month, but you can hardly make it out on the sketch. P.S.: It's not the mazzelhs I'm talking about.
