You probably all know about Ralph Nader the guy whos run for president for the last who knows how many years from teh independant party. I just want to know what you think of Ralph nader, independants and none dominant party's in the U.S.
These two have been fighting for a few minutes now just continue around them.
I think that the independents are good to have around becuase they help the little guy feel more important but it would be a miricle for one of them to ever get elected.
it sucks that you have to have millions of dollars to run for president.
it's been republicans and democrats since the american civil war, and even though there may have been better people who could have been president, without fitting into one of the two parties they never had a chance.
having two parties, each with their own sides, isn't good because there are more than two sides to every issue. you should be able to choose a party that fits your beliefs, not just one that fits more beliefs than the other side.
if people like nader had equal footing as the red and blue giants we would live in a better country.
Independant parties are crucial to the system. The Republican and Democratic parties weren't always around, and started off as independant parties to the large parties that ruled. If and when people become disallusioned with their parties, they join or form a new party. The goal of each independant party is to become a major party.
