I agree, I actually like the rap they put into theirs. It's not the normal stuff about drugs and sex and crap, it actually has meaning. And like you said, it's backed up by the rock.

Why do you people assume that Rap has no 'meaning'? I ahve heard a lot of rock music that has no meaning at all, have you people been deaf due to the fact that you dislike one style of music?
I find it funny how some claim that Rap has no meaning yet they'll be listing to a song about the exact same thing except in a 'Rock' form!
The stuff you hear now and days is NOT rap, rap was originally music from the 'streets' where people who actally grew up in the ghetto sung about thier life. Now you have people like lil Wyane rapping about how they grew up poor and how they were sucked into gangs. In most cases the 'New' rap is fake as hell.
Have you heard of Tupac? He used to rap about how his mom inspired him, and how she is his favorite women for raising him by herself. He made so many tributes to his mother.
Don't base rap off of todays 'rap' because it's no longer about what the artist really went through...you can be a kid from the suburbs & still pretend your from the 'hood'.
Anyway, I like rap, as you can tell by now, Rock is not my favorite but I enjoy wuite a few songs etc. Pop and country are just not my thing, but country being the least popular of the two in my opinion.
Actually, I really don't have a preference. And I'm too tired to make a counterpoint based on that guy's argument for rap, so I'll say I like most of them pretty much the same...rap the least, though.
OK. this is to everyone Who is stupid and says omg um like dude Screamo is so weird and annoying blah. First of all It's not called screamo. Screamo are bands Like bullet for my valentine who sing and scream with more of a depressing, or emo feel. It's called hardcore or metal coree or any kind of core. Secondly, It's not annoying, its annoying to you because it's different and you cant accept it because your friends won't think it's cool. You keep listining to whiney bitches who complain about they're boyfriends (pop) or cocky Niggers and guns and killing and money and sex and whores and shit (rap) While i Listen to the only music that takes Talent. I cant stand country bbut Ill put it second since it takes talent. I'll go ahead and listen to rock and "screamo" baecause the Lyrics Mean a lot and it takes alot of talent to do.
