Also, if you're a kitty hater (same goes for dog hater) Don't say "i h8 cats they r crappy dogz rule!" say something like "I prefer dogs to cats because {insert reason here}
I prefer Cats because they are loving, nice, compassionate pets. They Also are lazy just like me! Also if you love them they wont crap on your floor! (no matter what dogs still crap on the floor.)

Its funny that you mention the pit bull for example, I've only ever been close to a few of them. But I can promise you this that they were the most loving and affectionate dogs I have ever met. The biggest problem with stereotypes and dogs species is that people forget that it isn't the breed its self, but how the dog was raised. Of course if you raise it to be aggressive like..

IMO I enjoy being around dogs more, I feel that they have more of a personality and don't have random mood swings OR piercing claws that stick into your flesh and rip them out while your trying to hold there paw like cats do. And if your looking for something more lazy you can always try a bulldog, also known as the lazy mans dog.
