That is my motto! Do you think there is an actual place of peace? I do not even think that heaven is peaceful. Do you think that peace exists? Think me evil, demonic, or godless. . .this is my view.
Not really, I am questioning whether it exists, and other peoples views of it. I don't quite understand what everyones talking about either, but I know the intention of this thread (as stated before)
Peace is a state of mind in which people do not think of bad happenings and can easily control their thoughts and think only of things that please them. Peace is an object of the mind, peace is like fear, they are both in the opinion, one thing scary might be found by one person, but not another. Fear and peace are both in the mind, there is no "fear" or "eace" they are feelings you can experience at different moments. The question, "Does peace exist?" is a complex question because no one person can truly answer that, some people are so stressed, that they don't see peace in the world, some people are so strained, that they can only see fear in the world, peace is just a natural positive thought. Happy, sad, angry, afraid... These are all just feelings you can think of and feel. So before asking others, "Does peace exist?", first ask yourself, "Does peace exist?", you can't make decisions for others, and you cannot answer personal questions about others.
its possible for small pieces of peace (lol), but worldwide peace? there are just too many people in the world that are selfish and would destroy peace. Its just to fragile
Hmm... This is a very mind boggling question. You never now if peace will last or if it is true peace. You will never be sure if there is total peace. I do not think that there is real, everlasting peace.
Heh. I guess peace itself is dynamic, and is purely manipulable. It is undefined besides being able to have boundaries. In other words, you have to decide how peace functions with a premise or something.
@kipdon: Nice try to be deep. Anyways, I already did ask myself whether peace exists or not and came to the conclusion that it doesn't. Why? Well, life gives me no break, gives my family no break, and it seems that life sux SO bad that peace or any other good feeling does not exist. I don't believe in love, triumph, or peace.

If you want peace, then make it up. The mind can do magical things . Close your eyes and dream the happiest dream you've ever had in your life and you will be at peace.
