(Speaking of spelling bees and enzymes, a long, long, time ago in elementary school, I remember it was the final round of the spelling bee. My word was enzymes, and I had never heard that word, so I sounded it out. But the pronouncer said it like "enzines", so I spelled it like that and lost. I won the spelling bee the next 4 years in middle school, but I could have got a flawless record if it weren't for that stupid pronouncer with who said enzymes weird. This concludes my pointless rant.)
