Bilingualism?

I have seen many people try to take away what we're truly inside. We come form another country where you only speak one Lagrange and those people don't like it.Being bilingual has been turned against many people and i think that's intolerable!

Why and what made these people think that way?

In Japan, if you know English, you are up in the higher class. They get 6,500,000 Yen a year

Eh? That somehow doesn't make sense. Are you saying that every person who can speak good English in Japan earns that much automatically or what?

It is very important to know two languages or more. That's why colleges in the U.S. require 2 years of [i]foreign languages.

I agree knowing languages is important but colleges do not require you to know a foreign language. Some high schools require you to take foreign classes to graduate. Most colleges don't mind but you will have to take a foreign class while in college. That is why most people want to get it out of the way in high school.

I think upon initially moving to e new country a bilingual person could be considered lower class economically because they are just getting settled and starting a better life. But usually after time passes, or with the next generation, the families quickly rise to the top. The second language, and immigrant work ethic really propels them to the top.

You know, bilingualism is soon going to be required for day to day life with the way things are going.
