There has always seemed to be a struggle for power between the to gaming systems. Consol seemes to be getting more and more populuar why Pc's have been left in the dust. Which do you think is the better gaming system?

I personally like the pc alot better for first person shooters like Halo COD and Unreal Tournament. I find using a mouse and arrow keys makes it easier to get you head shots in rather toggles. Only problem with a PC is that you have to have a REALLY REALLY REALLY nice one to run graphics, speed, and game play well, where as for a console it really cant lag since the game was made to run for just that one model of console rather then over 100 different PC's with random amounts of RAM and random Graphics cards. I'd have to say PC just cause i like FPS(fisrt person shooters) alot and can do alot better with a mouse and keyboard.

I would never download a game on Pc, for one, it's going to be addictive and will mess up you're life, trust me I earned enough money to buy "Guild Wars" But was way to addictive and my computer didn't have that much of memory, So you would actually have to get mroe money to fix you're computers memory and make it bigger so I would just get a simple Counsel like Xbox 360 and PS3. And would probably save my career and life, and of course grades,

PC games will only ruin your life if you let them. Besides, what's the differences between getting hooked on a PC game or getting hooked on a console game?

pc is awesome and more for free. console games are all about money and tend to be really expensive.

well ive never really seen a console game be addictive seeing as most of them have a storyline..you beat it..you sell it on ebay..while pc games like WoW, Guild Wars, ect never end and people get really into it (i know ive played WoW there are soem realllllllllllly addicted ppl and my lil bro was addicted..thank god our subscripton ran out.). Halo or COD maybe since you cna play online..but for the most part WoW and Guild Wars have the biggest addictive numbers

i still say go PC

P.Cs are more expensive to have a good one. Consoles are easy. You go to the store pick on up and a few games. Many people regard P.Cs for only MMORPGS or other online type games. There are many many good solo player games like that on the consoles made for the P.C

As stated, you need to buy a graphics card and have a top of the line computer for PC games to work. Console games all perform very well becase they were specifically designed for the systems that they are being played on. Also, most PC games are charging per month(WoW, Guild Wars, etc.) which, while they are fun, can drain your wallet easily. There are also very many fun console games that are a 1-time payment, then you just play. Although, most of my favorite console games also come out on the PC, it is a lot less expensive to just get the console versions of games, though I do get PC exclusive games occasionally.

I'm not a hundred percent sure but don't you have to pay monthly for Xbox Live? Anways i couldnt agree more with you fergaman about WoW and Guild Wars. Also about the top notch computer thing. But for some games you dont need a $1,000 dollar comp. I'm typing this comment on a 99 Compaq computer and with XP and 256 ram i can run Unreal 2000 and Halo 1

I think everyone exgerates the price of a good PC or what the deffination for a 'good' Pc is. Like Icuzizzi said, some of the old cheap PC will still play those kinds of games really well.

console games are simpler, and easier to play, but i've always liked pc games better because they are more advanced. The only problem is that pc games need special things you have to buy for your computer sometimes. I think everyone should have both, they are both fun to play!!!

Well my friend just has a comp for gaming. Him and his Dad only use it for that at least. His Dad bought shit loads of ram. It doesn't have word, windows media, any of the normal stuff. Just saved room for games. They always have twice as much memory as the games take up so that it can run faster... And man, it has never lagged during any game. F'n amazing. But i only like comps for FPS games. They suck on all the others esp third person Shooters. I like Consoles btr personally cuz theres so many more games out there that are sooo much btr.. (although quake and unreal are pretty intense games for the comp.)
