Well, it happens everywhere. The Spanish conquistadors slaughtered the Native Americans because of their religions. Crazy Muslim terrorists are out to "kill the infidel".
This type of thing always happens when differences cannot be reconciled...
Every religion has extremists. A surprising fact: The Buddhists on Sri Lanka alone have committed more suicide bombings on that island than all the Muslim suicide bombings combined over the past 30 years.
I think it's strange that the radical, right-wing, fundamentalist Christians who bomb abortion clinics don't make this type of news...
They did when they were happening. This is what happens when people don't take time to understand and adhere to their religion, but instead make their religion adhere to their views.
If you know your modern Indian history (I don't know it very well), you will know this reflects longstanding, developing cultural tensions within India. It really blew up in more recent years, though, so you should expect this to make the headlines more often.
Ultimately it doesn't matter which group is doing what to whom. It all follows the same pattern.
I actually saw some good points on this topic, for once. I never see good opinions on religious radicals. Yes, Indians will blow up Christians. Yes, Muslims will blow up Christians, too. Everyone of every religion will blow up everyone else, because thats all people know.
Seriously this is nothing new, it always happens for example here are a few examples: 1.Spanish convert Native Americans 2.British convernt Indians, Native Americans, and Irish 3.America gets rid of Native Americans 4.Caucasians segregrate against African Americans. No matter what differences will always exist and push humans apart and make them fight.
