I say the invention of the atomic bomb and the discovery of nuclear energy. Although the bomb did help us win a war but still it radiated a crap load of stuff for miles around.
Small but still: The extinction of the Lesser Koa Finch, only one has ever been seen and it was shot on the spot. The bird lasted thousands of years but then about half an hour (probabaly) with humans. On average 4 species go extinct per year naturally. Huamns are at a few thousand times that level. Unfortunatly it seems nature has provided us with the gift of intelligence we can dot he most wonderess things imaginable, we can go to the moon and the bottom of the sea but we're also the most careless. I love humans we are awe inspiring creations in the long history of life and evolution and to be honest we aren't EVIL just careless and naive.
the worst thing ever to happen was the pushing of religon. I am not saying that religon is bad, I am christian all I am saying is that when you push your religon then bad things happen like the genicide in rawanda and the crucades
