everyone, even ALL my friends seem to love typhlosion. (never a fan myself) i aknowledge that he's a good pokemon, but his stats are abotu the same as any other starter. [b]why does everybody love him so much?

I dunno, the fact is typhlosion is a very bad pokemon but he's got a great look so maybe that's why they love him, surely your friends are noob on pokemon games
Typhlosion may have similar stats to the starter, but then again who said starters were the best, they're good, point.

But FallenSky, the fire pokemon are cool! Yes, I really, really like that type, not matter if they are ood or not. They are easy to draw, and look beautiful/handsome, and if you picture a herd of Rapis and ponys in sommer rain, well...

Yeah...although I'm too addict to even try to boost a ponyta or a rapidash since I know they will be bad,it's all a statistic question,it's like something inside of me won't let me boost bad pokemon even if they look great, but won't let me boost legendary one's either since it's kind of a cheating.
But it's not like i cannot admit that flareon is all cuddly and I'd just love to have one to play with
Otherwise,I dunno,I simply don't love him.My favorite starter would be totodile but even so I've almost never kept starters in my team (except charizard 'cause there's no good alternative in the first gen fire pokemons)
Well Arcanine is kind of good but too overall...But he's soooo handsome

I have to go with Typhlosion. He was my first uber un-defeatable pokemon. He was lvl 100 and he knew thunder punch which covered his weakness nicely. : )

My favorite pokemon's Sableye or Luxray, or maybe Absol...I don't know, those three are my top favorite pokemon though.

ummm wow its been such a long time, i can barely remember pokemon...but if i remember correctly my favorite was Gengar cause ghost type are awesome

Gengar is bad because he's also a poison type pokemon, also ghost type moves uses the attack stat to gain power, wich renders them hard to exploit since most ghosts don't have attack
-Using tunderpunch with a typhlosion s kind of particular...I wouldn't recommend it thought

I like cloyster, even though he's pretty bad because all his def can cover is his intolerable weakness to fighting type moves.

But you know, Fallen, this is favorite pokemon, not best pokemon, is it not?
Not meaning to sound annoyed, but I just like the design over the abilities, mainly because I do the "oh, I wish pokemon were for real" (And was annoying all over a thread about it). Seen that way, a Rapidash would be someone you you would not like having stepping all over your feet, and shuckle would be... shuckle.

O-k here's my new argument:
Shuckle is cute and warm and very cuddly and I'd like to have one
No seriously I'll stop debatting over abilities,I was well aware someone might warn me of my off topicness sometime XD
I totally see your point, and even today the choice would be so easy:if I were to choose a world to be in it'd be pokemon one, seing as how sasha just get out on the road and travel the world at the age of like,14!?
But you know, abilities is knid of a part that constitute my choice of what's favored so...I can't control myself :P
Ok...I like...ummmm,I'm a big fan of magneton,I used to select Lt Surge all the time on pokemon puzzle league because magneton's scream was very annoying but I liked it

Heh^^ You are a very technical being, are you not? It is not really off topic to analyze pokemon that way, it just gets a little annoying when you are poking a little at our faves. But pokemon world ftw, really. Oh, how people stare, when I am poke-freaking~

Hmm, another major fave is Lugia. The second movie is the one I have watched the most. I think I might be fascinated by the way this creature can be violent and brutal guarding what he love, and still is gentle and loving. So big and yet such a careful being.

I see your point,Lol this thread is going to get monopolized by us XD
Sorry everyone to have analyzed all your fave,it's not a bad thing to love typhlosion, but typhlosion is a bad thing ;P
No seriously I remember the first time I watched the first pokemon movie I was like eight and I cryed because I found the conflict between the mew and mewtwo so sad :.(
It may seems very stupid, but the morals and the base of the debate of the first movie is home to lots of philosophical thoughts:Is a created life worth a real one?Is power's really to possess it and use it?
Well see the point these questions made me cry when I was a kid (and the fact that I knew I would be never able to catch a cute little caterpie)
I love lugia to,I used to have a friend who simlpy loved that pokemon so much and I remember clearly his face when I beated it with a weepinbell XD,god it was worth all the gold in the world
Does anybod else loves Victreebell as I do?
