I see my sticky got ignored? No worries, for I have the power to move threads! *moves via magical mod telekinetic force*
Oh, and let me know if there's duplicates of topics. I have a feeling there will be...
Hmm... Full defense mode on both your allies, make sure to stay alive until he's down to some 20000... Then your allies should be able to do the rest, if Veradux's heals are efficient enough. So make sure he is equipped with something that boosts his instinct. That's the best I can advise... I played on easy, so not sure how good my advice is, but it worked for me.
instinct helps healing? haha I pumped every single attribute point into instinct with my hydraulic and only ever used it for attack... I just kept slogging away at him. Doing critical hits was important, I had ice and fire piercing quite high and made sure the other two had high in at least one thing.but i didnt use any particular tactic. Its the guys that come later that are hard..
Actually I don't know for sure if instinct makes the heals more effective, it just seemed like Veradux healed more and more the more instinct bonus he had. :/ It could just be from becoming a higher level, I don't know.
General tip: If there's a fight you can't handle, train your level up by one or two, and revise your strategy.
Also, its worth investing in redistributing your points for the fight (that's why the option is there after all). Don't worry about the money - I had 10000 unused at the end of the game.
the hydras...the fire claws are weak to the elements of the basic attacks, so any attack in that element will do lots of damage. If you're hydro, a level 4 ice attack will pretty much 1hit them, the hydra isn't weak or strong to anything though, just take it down normally
