Okay people, i have a challenge for you! Okay, not really a challenge, but a "game".
The point is, to to fanart of an ArmorGames game! It doesn't have to be good, just about armor games! It doesn't have to be serious, just about armor games! It doesn't have to be time-consuming, just about-- okay, you got it.
So yeah 8D Follow the armor games rules, and just make a fanart! We (me) accept anything!
Please don't flame anyone, and if you're going to criticize please use constructive critique. If someone says they don't want critique, please respect that. Feel free to stick around just to see. But don't be afraid of posting! And don't steal art!
It took me about, what, ten-fifteen minutes, I think? Come, children, story time: I was tired, and the forum was rather dead, so I ended up ranting about non-scandinavs not knowing what a nisse is. Zophia joined up, as well as, I think it was D... something. Anyway, used two-four pages on nothing but talking and explaining and showing of what nisse(r)s are, totally off topic, and unable to get back on track.
Heheh. I'm from Norway, so I know. I wish i could live there. I am currently working on an Psyduck for the Pokemon thread, later i will draw something for this thread.
A nisse (pluralis: nisser) is some guardian creature people beieved/believe in. They are basically small humanoids that helped the farmers on their farm, taking care of the animals and making sure the farm is in order. That is, if the farmer and his family is being nice to the nisse, giving him (often the nisse on the farm was a male, though there could live families there too) some porridge, and making sure he could live well. If the farmer was not good to the nisse, even mocking him, then the nisse would make sure the farm began to disfunction, and teasing the family living there. Most people today only know them from the relation to Christmas, and from there the elves (Santa's helpers) and gnomes (like garden gnomes) came from.
Well here in holland/the netherlands they are known as kabouters they can vary in size depending on what story your reading. Sometimes they live in mushrooms sometimes under trees ect. If something gets done (expl: the dishes) and you dont know who has done it we say that the "kaboutertjes"(plural) did it. So i guess its the same. european folkore.
