I didn't make a resolution. Not one specially for New Year's anyway, but an incidental way-of-life directive.
"Never be lulled into a false sense of entitlement."
I had to explain to somebody that this was similar to "don't take things for granted" and she asked me why I didn't say that. After some thought, I remembered the reason is that the latter relates to things that you assume you already have, whereas the former concerns both that and also that which you may not have. Because you can't get something for nothing.
Wtf?!?!? ____________________________________________ I want to: Stop smoking. Get #1. Get a hot girlfriend/boyfriend. Become a moderator. Get Adobe Flash CS3 without a virus. (I had it before but it gave me a virus and it cost 200$ )
Well, last year I've resolved to not do New Year's resolutions. It seems like a better system to change your lifestyle as new problems come up or are discovered, not trying to deal with them all at once.
