This topic needs to be discussed i here it so much...againt other and some making fun of themselves and regretting themselves...I live in TX....and the main cultures is Mexican and texan a bit of Squarehead and Black...I here blcks callin there selves nigers...
Yeah its there way of calling themselves I dont know why. Like some Mexicans call each other "Essay" something like that. It is their cultrule and their way to express themselves but I dont know why they won't let others call African-Americans "nigers."
Well, usually when people call themselves something, they won't take it offensively because they can't possibly mean it seriously. When someone calls them a name, it might be taken offensively because it would be possible for the term to be insulting. Also, I don't think "ese" (I think it has an accent, but I'm not sure which key combination creates the with the accent) is meant to be offensive. I'm pretty sure it's a friendly name.
