It's just so useless! If the time is 1:30 pm, why not call it 13:30??? The Swedish way is much MUCH more better. It just confuzzlez* everything if you do Pm and Am.

*Another word for confuses.

What does AM and PM stands for anyway? I'm too lazy to google it. And 24 hour clock is easier.

American people have their own stupid way of things this is an good example, its much easier on our way but no american have to be difrent. this isn't the only stupid thing, they have no centimeters they have inches, why!?!? the other rest of the world uses centimeters the answer is simple they want to be difrent, that makes them also stupid.

I kinda find your post offensive...
But I'm American, I guess it makes sense because we drive on the opposite side of the road and other things like that, therefore I clearly would never understand the intellect of your post in the first place.

Activate: GOOGLE POWAH!!!
AM: Ante Meridem(Before Noon)
PM: Post Meridem(After Noon)
I guess that must be it then.

there are people living in Myanmar and Liberia that are probably pretty offended as well.

however I do agree with about inches etc. the imperial system makes so little sense on that scale (though I do measure my self in feet and look at distances in miles).

It's because some people can't count past 12 D:

Once you get used to one system, it's hard switching to another. YOu mine as well ask why don't we all use U.S. Dollars.

Why are we not us...
Yeah, agreeing. Or, actually, it is not very hard to switch between them, not even now when I have to think with time zones as well, so not only am/pm, but also +/- gmt+1.
It is not hard when you get the hang of it, and care to keep the knowledge fresh in mind.
