Just kidding about Viva Pinata. Let's get to the topic. Well basically there are a lot of different views on CoD4 and CoD5 and which game is better and why it is better. This is mainly because different companies made the games (Infinity ward for CoD4 and Treyarch for CoD5). These two companies switch off from game to game (CoD2 made by Infinity Ward, CoD3 by Treyarch, etc.) Sorry I'm drifting off here; I just want to give people that don't get the why it's a big deal a background information (even though its not a big deal, its just about opinion) Anyway, I just want to know which game you guys think is better and why (CoD4 or CoD5?) I know some people haven't played these games but even if you have heard about them just throw out your opinion. I personally believe CoD4 is better because of the "modern warfare" theme; I think WWII is getting overused in a lot of FPSs (first person shooters).
P.S. CoD5 = CoD : WaW I know it's not called CoD5 but it's easier to say and type.
I've only played CoD4, but I love it. I need a new comp to play it though. Dx.
Why don't you play it on Xbox 360. I believe it is the most fun on the 360 (since I have one and I have played the computer version) Even though you can mod and do stuff like that on the PC, the online gameplay on the 360 is pretty fun too because it's easier with a controller and feels more realistic.

Yeah I agree, WWII guns get sort of boring and annoying. Plus there are no snipers (Bolt action rifles suck in my opinion, even though they are considered to be "snipers"
if i want an all out messy deathmatch, il go for cod5, the gore is better, but if i want a decent game of search and destroy or something il go for cod4, overall my favourite is cod4 i think
i prefer COD4 because it is took a well needed turn from the age-old WWII theme. plus i think the weapons are cooler looking and more fun to play around with
CoD 4, not just because you kill terrorists but because the are alot more weapons and I think the maps are better.
I agree. The maps in CoD WaW are either too big or too jammed up with weird buildings. Plus the spawns are horrible, sometimes I have spawned in the middle of a gunfight... Not a great spawn.

I definitely agree with you there, that's why I can't wait for CoD : MW2; it's gonna be great. Like an improved CoD4. Probably not that much of a greater difference because It is still the modern era and I doubt many new guns have been created over the time period from 2007 - 2009. But there are many guns they didn't include and I can't wait to see what guns those are. :]
