I saw this advertisement about two weeks ago:

This weird advertisement states that it is Armorgames, but when you click on the link, it brings you to some random website. Is this allowed? Can we do something about it please?

agh dumb parental controls won't let me see it > (mom is crazy about what i do on internet)

it looked like it had the same address as the popup ads you get on your profile if you click once... could just be a mistake?

unlimited power your BB code tags are in all caps.They will only work when typed in lowercase on this site for some reason,so I will redo your code for you real quick...

This is obviously two different images I just noticed,which explains why it seems so long,but anyways I think this should work as long as you put the right url's in the correct places...

Nope, last time I clicked the link it came up to the same website. And the advertisement seems cut off, which I find very strange...

Thanks crimson for the info on how to post stuff up. Let me try to give Graham an idea of the page:

It may not actually be a fake one.

Were did you see it at? If it was off of the site, then I can't really say for sure, but if it wa on the site you may have just clicked something accidently or it may have been something entirely diffrent. itruely don't know.

contacting an admin or something could be wise. But it isn't ruing the world, so maybe just let it go.

??? AG controls the as that go on the site. Doesn't matter much that they have a fake ad, that promotes themselves and another site. I don't see that ad on other sites though.

Well, i havent visited that "fake" website yet, but if its similar to the true AG, legal action should be done, i guess.

1. I found it on Armorgames. To be precise, it was on my profile so if people visit there and keep refreshing they are bound to find it.

2. I am telling you guys, it wasn't an accident! In fact, I'm going to my user name right now and see if it comes up again... What do you know, the advert turned up again. People should be able to find it. Yes it takes me on a different site, which is the link I've provided. I'll post it here. I have another idea: I'm going to post the image address right . Weird, I look at the location and it seems to be from Armorgames, but it goes to another place. I'm very confused in this thing.

Maybe I haven't been very clear. Let me tell the story then:

I happened to look at my Profile to see if anyone wrote something in my comments. It was then that I noticed that there was an advert on the side, boasting that it was Armorgames. I opened the link in a new tab and came to some weird site that looked more like a cheap Google search than Armorgames. It was partially in Spanish, but loads of it was english. I thought it was weird, but didn't write anything about it. Two months later I notice the advert again, and this time I report it (Here on this thread).

Now I have also checked the location of the picture, which strangely is stored on armorgames. But the link is still the same: It leads to some site that isn't even a gaming website.

It helps advertise AG!

(Nice to see that you did follow my advice!) That's just the point! It doesn't lead to a fake Armorgames site that tries to look like Armorgames(I think that's fraud), just some weirdo site that isn't even a gaming site. That's cheap.

It seens to lead to a site that advertises random sites, some being about games and others not. This type of site usually gain money every time someone clicks links inside it (like google advertises). So it should be ilegal in some way.
