Nice cool by Doss in the last few minutes aswell.Yea Gerrard had a beautiful strike.5-0 in the two matches the 4-0 was Real Madrids heaviest defeat since 1989.
Doss' goal was rather lucky, ricocheting off the keeper and goin in, although it was rather nice to see salt rubbed into the wound. I have never liked Real.
Juventus is awesome
They have an excellent team, a very balanced midfield, great team chemistry and lots os experience. I thought that they would beat Chelsea relatively comfortably at home, although Drogba had a stormer.
Although it is probably considered sacrilege to say anyone other than Pele or Maradonna, here I go:
The best footballer ever. Who do you think?
Di Stefano. I will elaborate once I have been slammed for this opinion.

Gerrards goal in the 47th minute was the best in the match.Real's keeper did well even though he let in five goals. Is anyone heer gonna watch Man U and Inter tonight in Old Trafford?

Di Stefano?! Di Stefano!?
I completly agree. The Blonde Arrow was immense377 in 521 games 6 in 6 for Argentina. Plus he had immense stamina which allowed him to play every position on the pitch. (apparently literally like Bugs bunny when he plays baseball lol). I would place him just above Ferenc "80 in 81" Puskas and Zidane though he is offically the fourth best footballer of all time.
Maradonna
If he was good he wouldn't have needed drugs (even if they weren't exactly perforamnce enhhancing) and his hand to win. For me the negatives in his carrer out way the positives. Not that I'm biased or anything.
I will go into much more detail later on the subject, but, succinctly Di Stefano was the best because he had no zones or positions and could play all over the pitch. He also had that rare quality to make other footballers better.
As for the Pele vs Maradona debate, they are inseparable with regards to shooting. Pele was superior with regards to the all round athleticism which meant he was much stronger in the air. Maradona however was a better dribbler, leader and passer of the ball. All in all, I would say Pele just pips it. Then again, I am English and so hate the little runt!
Spot on i think Alfredo was brilliant in defense and was an inpiring figure to people around him. With di stefano and Puskas together up front int was little wonder Real Madrid were so dominant in the '50's.
Sorry for the double post but.. no wait I'm not sorry The Gunners are through on penalties. Vucinic and Tonetto missed for Roma. Anyway sorry for that I'll calmdown in a bit.
Did you hear Cafu has signed for Garforth town I think. The place where Socrates went a few years ago.
