I used to play, but I don't really have any ball control, just speed. Once you've played outside of a house league you really get a respect for the skill involved

I've always considered myself a pretty decent player, I was always picked for the first team at school and played amateur clubs etc, but then when I was about 14 a lad came to the school who was at the fulham academy. He now plays for Swindon, but yea, when you see someone of real quality it makes you appreciate football that much more. That's why I think you can only ever consider yourself a proper fan unless you've played it. May seem a bit harsh, but I think it's the only way to truly understand the game.
Current Players XI: 1- Casillas 2- J Terry 3- Sakho 4- Baines 5- Vanden Borre 6- de Rossi 7- S Gerrard 8- Kaka 9- Saivet 10- Pjanic 11- Thierry Henry
All Time best XI
1. Lev Yashin 2. Bobby Moore 3. Franco Baresi 4. Franz Beckenbeur 5. Paolo Maldini 6. Socrates 7. Zinedine Zidane 8. Dennis Bergkamp 9. Pele 10. di stefano 11. Puskas
your current 11 is nice buti wouldnt put pjanic in there and how can you not play messi? however you have a very good all time 11 but like i said before it would be so hard to really name the best starting 11 of all time
I know it is early in the day but Paul Scholes has been sent offand Man U are one goal down to fulham inside 25 minutes. This could be a very good day.
Also what are peoples views on the best free-kick taker ever. I like Juninho Pernambucano though Sinisa Mihajlovic is pretty good.

Sinisa was the best. When I watched national team some 7 years ago I remember that the ball hit one played in the wall and he was knocked down. Of course Beckham has a reserved place in world's best free-kickers.
