Nickelback is an alternative metal/rock band. One of their songs is 'Hero', a spiderman track, though it was a collaboration. Just some background information as an introduction.
Ok, when I view videos of them on Youtube, no matter how many views it has, there's always a slammer that calls them NickelCrap. It annoys me but then people do have their views. The thing that bothers me is that, does Nickelback has such a large hate group? I don;t see this kind of talk on videos of other singers, lets say Akon.
And there was the stone throwing thing in Portugal. It really makes fans' blood boil....
I personally like Nickelback. They're not my favourite band in the world but I like some of their music. It bugs me when people totally slate other people on the internet just for the sake of it. I dont understand, if theres a band i dont like i dont go around saying how bad they are, i just ignore them and let them get on with what they want. (Perhaps thats slightly hipocritical of me...) Also i dont know about this stone throwing thing in Portugal, what happened?
I am basically neutral towards Nickelback. I like some of their songs, but others are annoying and overplayed. Overall, I like more about them than I dislike, but I can see both sides of the argument. However, nobody should ever insult somebody else over an opinion, as that just displays how immature they are. Not everybody agrees on the same ideas, but that doesn't mean we have good reason to insult others.
Its not an issue if they are metal or not, if they are counted as some other genre they can be good too. And no I don't konow if Chad really tries to make his voice deeper. NickelBack FTW, Bashers make your own music that people can like before saying their music is crap. Eat that man, bet all of you haters can't make a decent piece. I'm saying that I can.
Okay, the reason people say that Nickleback suck is because all their songs sound very similar or "The same" as my sisters say every time they come on teh radio or TV. Personally I like the song Hero but the singer has a very generic sounding voice and that mixed with the overall sound of their songs makes them completely average. It's not that they're bad but who wants to listen to average when their are bands people actually like around?
