and body i do know what im talking about ive taken about 10 MUSIC THEORY CLASSES. I know how music is made and developed. And how music is classified. You a band plays outside of the five chords there not classified as punk because punk is classified as fast simple put lyrical music.
@Bobitho Whatever dude, I'm not even gonna argue because online argueing is pointless. Everyone will always want the last word. This is my last comment made to you. Just look em up. They are called a punk band because some of their music is of the punk genre.
sorry for the double post, but punk is not just about the guitar chords played, but about what they stand for. If you wanna call a band punk only because they use those chords then bands like simple plan are punk bands and that is wrong. Maybe Rise Against is not your perfect definition of a punk band it doesnt mean anything because they are a lot more punk than you Bobitho
