Insane Clown Posse is the ultimate example since they really have no talent(the vocals are terrible) they talk about death all the time and half of their lines don't even rhyme.They truly have nothing good about them for me to like.
Weird Al
People around here are huge fans of Weird Al.We had some of his songs playing at the NASA/VCU FIRST(For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Tournament this year.
At my school, about 95% of people listen to only rap or hip hop or pop. I am one of those 5% that still clings to rock, so whatever music i like is immediately scorned by most at my school. Faves are Linkin Park, Staind, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Limp Bizkit, Bullet For My Valentine, Atreyu, Disturbed, 30 Seconds To Mars, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Trapt, Three Doors Down, Nickelback, Sum 41, and Green Day. Yes I know it is a long list but all of them are scorned with equal intensity at my school.
Jason Becker, nobody knows him and he's the best or Metallica/Megadeth. It's irritating to hear a bunch of idiots say "It's just noise" or something along those lines. If you can only hear noise, then either you have ear/brain damage or you don't know how to listen to music.
