Under Hawaiian state law (1907) the City and county of Honolulu are one and the same. So not only does honolulu include the city but also the rest of Oahu and north-west Hawaii. It covers about 5,509 square km. with a population of only 876,156 people. Almost 75% of the city is under water. Mumbai houses 12.8 million people in about 440 square km while Tokyo has 35.2 million people in 13,500 square km. Oh well kind of a trick question.

How long will this bruise on my pinkie stay? I slammed my locker on it two weeks ago. It isn't all purple/black anymore, now it is just a series of really small, black, red, yellow and purple dots...

How much is a nickel worth?

If it is US currency then it is worth 5 pennies. in whole denominations.

technically in economic terms, what something is worth is determined by what people pay. Nobody will pay 7 cents. Also you are talking about pennies minted before 1982 (pure copper pennies) now they are minted with a thin copper plating and a zinc core.

yup, owned.

lol you wern't suppose to tell him shakespear had no wife XD,

Ahhh..got it..you were trying to ask a trick question. However, Shakespeare DID have a wife (Anne Hathaway)... In my prior post I was stating that Shakespeare did not have an "ex-wife"; he had a widowed wife.

he had a wife? i always thought he was sorta gay...one of his poem was even inspired by a handsome man, and in his poem, it seemed like he actually likes him...

sorry, forgot what sonnet that was...

Yes, he did have a wife (I believe she bore him 3 children) ... He wrote a huge number of sonnets (sonnets 18 - 126, I believe) about his love for a "beautiful" man ... which causes many historians to question his sexuality. However, even back in those days, it was normal for homosexuals and bi-sexuals to marry the opposite sex as it was "expected". BTW - he had a shot-gun wedding because Anne Hathaway was pregnant at the time of their nuptials.

superzagron, that is a trick question, my science teacher explained this breifly, the sun is white. It gets its colourful appearence from the reflection the earth sends back

I agree with you that color sun is white, but the colourful appearence is not because the earth reflect the sun. The caracteristic colourful occurs because the atmosphere filters out the rays, separating the colors.
When the sun is high, the colors formed by waves of greater amplitude circumvent these particles and molecules. But the minor (the violet, blue and blue) can not deviate and trunk, spreading out. With this, the tinge of blue sky and the sun is yellow, which is the sum of the other colors: green, yellow, orange and red. As the sun will call, its rays must pass through a larger piece of the atmosphere, colliding with more obstacles.
The red is the last wave of light that can cross and reach the atmosphere, so the sun is red in the Sunset.
To summarize: Wave length of light, like red, circumvent obstacles without difficulty while short waves as violet, anise and blue, beat and spread to the sky, painting it. We see the sun yellow because this color is a mixture of waves that arrive long: green, yellow, orange and red.

one of the oldest civilization that introduced homosexuality was rome, from nero to the Alexander the great. it then it spread all over Europe.

atleast now i know one of the greatest poets in Europe wasn't a hundred percent gay, because it'd sound strange for other poets to use him as inspiration...hahaha
