I havent seen anybody post this as a topic and i was surprised. Call of duty 4 was one of the best games to be developed which drew thousands of people world wide to this game. The single player was not as fun as the mutliplayer which really did the job. Battlefield drew many in with the destructible environments and the use of viechles. Now, I have not personally owned any of these games, but i have played both games, both online and the campaigns on my friends xbox 360. Here are the pros about Cod 4 -Intense Multiplayer and campaign. And i mean Intense! -Easy to pick up and play -Clases never had been this fun -Just so addicting. -Smart AI Cons -No viechles! -Story line is short and feels like you want more at the end
For Battle field BC Pros -Destructible Environments, that means every thing is Destructible!!! -Viechles are just plain fun -Multiplayer is also addicting -Weapons of Choice are phenominal -Story is a little interesting Cons -Short campaign -WAY TOO EASY campaign because of the health system
These are the main points that are many have augured about: Single Player: Which one has the best story and moments in single player? Which is longer and which is just more addicting. For me, both are kinda short, even tho i only played the first mission for Battlefield BC but heard that it is indeed short. the horrible health system really hurt BC. However, I think BC takes it since the viechles and environments. Also, story is gripping and love the squad mates
Best Show: which had the better graphics? How about sound? I think BC takes sound but COD 4.
Multiplayer: Now this is the most important. Really it comes down to fun. I think that BC takes this. Although it has only two modes, its just so fun with mortar strikes and shooting friends online. Tho COD also has that and a better class system. I prefurred BC just because of the viechles and destruction
Overall, i would say BC takes it. Although it has major flaws like the health system and the legnth of the game, i think that BC just has more fun. Its not as popular, but BC is just more fun. I know many will disagree.
Also, what could be debated is the upcoming games: COD Modern Warefare 2 and Bad Company 2 which are expected to be the most anticipated shooters of this generation. Which one seems better?
Yeah. . . . You should've played the whole thing. BC's campaign is NOT short. And the health system doesn't make the game easy in some of the later levels. None of your criticisms on BC are really valid. . . .
BC's campaign is NOT short. i thought that it only had 8 missions and they werent that long. even if it were, it must have been too easy. Maybe i should have played the whole thing, but there was some bad points in them
Maybe i should re-define the bad points of Battlefield bc and maybe it is too easy since when u die, u respawn from where you died and all the damage that u made in the other life stays. so i guess thats kinda boring to me but OK
New Cons - Not so good AI which makes the single player a tad easier (my opinion) - Two online Mutiplayer - And i forgot... NO LOCAL MUTLIPLAYER!!! how messed up is that. people really do have friends that they hang out with and just wanna play localy with each other in the same console!
well really considering how long it took me for the BC game... its not that easy.. Unless your playing on easy which is meant to be hillariously easy... Try normal, you respawn back to a checkpoint same in hard, and the campaign is actually very long... It took me quite a while to beat.. As for the no LAN, the Lan in COD4 sucks. It is stupid as everybody screen peaks, as well that you can't make any bots. It's pointless to only play with up to 4 people. So mide as well put not good LAN underneath COD4.... Wat does two online multiplayer mean anyways?
It's not really fair versing and entire series against a single game. I really enjoy the CoD series. Always action packed and always fun. But Battlefield is awesome because of HAGGARD!!
Thanx for the Feed back all you guys: Try normal, you respawn back to a checkpoint same in hard, and the campaign is actually very long... It took me quite a while to beat. Thanx, guess i played it on really easy cuz there was no checkpoints thing. but thanx, since i just got it, ima have a hell of a good time now! Wat does two online multiplayer mean anyways? I meant only two online multiplayer options are available. gold rush and the other one is extremely good, but i still desire some more modes. But nonconformist, I didnt mean Lan however, i meant like 2 or 4 game split screen, not lan. Almost all games, like Halo, have great local multiplayer options. Maybe you just want to play with your friends all in one tv. This is helpful when you are hanging out, you know? Co-op will be cool too, and if they did just add in those co-op and local, it would be up and above COD Modern Warefare. But still i think BC is better than cod 4, i know a lot of others will disagree
