Simply put, Starcraft. Warcraft was good, but I preferred Starcraft, moved quicker.

For the moment I prefer warcraft (warIII) but I can really tell who is the best after trying starcraft 2

Warcraft is a dying game. In many people's opinion "DotA" a scenario map on warcraft is the only thing keeping it alive.

However I only see a few who play starcrft these days. But still I prefer starcraft over warcraft.

How do you accurately compare these games? Starcraft beats Warcraft 2 but Warcraft 3 beats Starcraft and probably Starcraft 2 will beat them all. The newest one wins out if for no other reason than it has its predecessors to build off of.

Online gaming for Warcraft 3 is the best so far. I liked Starcraft more when I first got it. I don't know which is better.

warcraft has hero's and experience stuff,
makes it not depending only on "develope as quick as possible"
that's why i think WC3 is better...
but since there is WoW, this game is played by almost no one

Starcraft all the way. I own both Starcraft and Warcraft III and their expansion packs. Starcraft just has better everything. I like the campaign way more, i mean it's freaking intergalactic warfare =P even though it may lack experience and hero's in the regular game, it's still a great game!

I like the feel and speed of starcraft over warcraft but they both are amazing.

They are both pretty good. I think Blizzard Entertainment should make a Warcraft/Starcraft game for the Nintendo DS, DSi, and Wii.
