I'm sure everyone has 1 of these, or at least knows of them. But they're not the same. Which do you think are better? The PS3 has been re-priced about 3 times which is pretty bad and still has bugs time-to-time. The Wii is one of the popular platforms with the worst graphics and most video games made for children below the age of 12. What do you think?
well the wiis are really good to have if u have a lot of friends and host parties a lot, People would rather play wii at a party than the ps3. but for most people that don't have parties all the time or friends over i'd say ps3. personally the 360 is the best. So far wiis have sold more than twice as many console as the 360 thyough and the 360 has sold more than the ps3 so wii's are most popular but i think 360 and ps3's are better
Ps3 all the way there is basically no comparison, the only thing the wii has which is"different" is ENCHANCED motion sensored controllers, ut the PS3 does have motion sensors, just to a limited extent, and the graphics OVERALL are much, much better.
why would you even make this thread? these consoles arent even in the same ballpark. they appeal to different types of gamers therefore you cannot compare them. wii is geared more toward casual gamers who just pick up a game they can jump right into and play a simple fun short game. ps3 is for more "serious" gamers who like to play more lengthy games that have better visuals and sound with more complex controls and in-depth storyline. they each have their own positives and negatives.
PS3 would of course win, for starters it has better graphics, and a very diverse game selection. The Wii on the otherhand, has "ok" graphics, and its games are aimed toward the younger audience. So yea I would pull for the PS3!
PS3 has it's fallback like developers have really hard time making games for it because of sony. Also due to this there isn't a vast selection of good games. The price is also very high.
you can't compare them, kind of one sided, the Wii is fun but it's games are shorter and a little easier.
PS3 just owns with graphics, and gameplay, and if even has controller motions in some games liek the wii.
I haven't seen a diffrence in game lenght. I've played on both consoles and really the graphic's gap might be big but it's definetly not that vast. Also the controller isn't as precise as the wii's it might been good for steering but not anything beyond that also with wii's new motion addon for the wiimote there isn't anything like the wii's contoller on the market.
Apples VS Bowling shoes. The only link between the two is that they're made to play games. (Totally different games, mind you. You could say the same about PS3 VS Basketball)
All of that aside, this is a no-brainer. The Wii has one gimmick running for it that doesn't even work perfectly as intended. Play with the motion controls for any amount of time and you will see all sorts of inaccuracies, delays, and misreadings. The PS3 is a solid, traditional gaming console with the most power available on the market and tons of potential in addition to it's already well established line of games.
Well, I vote for Wii, i own neither, i have an Xbox, but I have a Burning hate for Sony, they are the most unorigional company on the face of the earth, They attempted to steal the Wiimote idea from Nintendo. Apparently, Sony wants the PS to be exactly like the Wii they would have suceeded if Nintendo didn't sue the frik out of them. I mean for god's sake people, open your eyes, Sony, THE MAKERS of the PS3 like the Wii better than their own product!" and besides Raxel, the Wii Motion + is supposed to fix all of those "inacuricies, delays, and misreadings" Which I have only seen once while playing often on my cousins Wii. So whats the no-brainer now?
