Hey, I love airsoft and have a c02 pistol, I only play with c02 guns, I'm having the hardest time finding c02 M16, AUG, and M15 models, if you can find one, please tell me.
My favorite that I've used would be a pistol... I was accurate with it up to 20 yards... It was also really freaking powerful... (It hurt... a lot...) Problem is, you had to cock it every time... but in the fight we had, that and an M-16 was what caused my team to win... It was just the two of us versus about eight other guys... It was cool...

Agreed. I play on a semi-pro league and play teams around the state and sometimes even out of state. Mainly woodsball though. In paintball you can use paintball tanks, paintball rocket launchers, paint mines, paintball machine guns, snipers, pistols, and pretty much make your own cover and environment. Paintball is way better than Airsoft, but yeah Somers is right if you skip and buy cheap gear you can get yourself messed up quite bad.

My C02 pistol is automatic, I'm not for Spring and Electric powered guns.(PS: I know they don't make elect. pwr. pistols.)
i still dont get why people like airsoft. Their just a lame toy. If you like airsoft, try paintballing. Its twice the fun, and twice the pain
The guns don't look realistic in paintball, I have friends who play both, I've looked into paintball, but I've also been for airsoft, my whole life. Airsoft aren't always toys, your thinking of that clear, spring crap, I'm thinking of the metal C02, painful awesome. Airsoft has snipers, also. It's way more realistic which is why I like it. I was thinking of taking blood-red paintballs and taping them to my legs, back, stomach, and chest to make it look like blood is coming out(of course sometimes it really does.) when I got shot like they did with pigs blood and fake swords in Shakespears' plays, but I'm not that into it.
And, for some spring guns you can get these 6MM paintballs for airsoft.
I prefer airsoft to paintball, and besides paintballs can be used with airsoft. I have an AEG G36 and P90 and play with a buddy of mine who lives near some woods where we play. That and I prefer the realistic feel of the guns as opposed to the paintball counterparts.
Airsoft guns launch smaller projectiles which makes it harder to track than paintball. The little pellets are also moving much more slowly which forces you to aim up for long range firing (moreso than a paintball gun). I'm into archery so maybe its just me, but I like predicting the path it will take...

I never said that... But I actually have seen some... When you eject the clip from the handle, it has both the batteries and the pellets inside it... I was messing with it before I knew it was electric and was messing with it... I figured that since it wasn't cocked, it wouldn't be able to shoot me. WRONG!!! I was looking down the barrel just because I could and pulled the trigger while doing that because I could... It hit me right between the eyes on the bridge of my nose... It hurt...
I know of many places here in Texas where you can easily get M-16's and several other semi and full auto rifles.
I'm into archery so maybe its just me, but I like predicting the path it will take...
Do you compete? If not, consider it. I did competitive archery when I was 14-15. Before that I was shooting shotgun... It really helps with aiming airsoft and paintball. plus, the more you practice, the more you become immune to pain.
Mainly the thing with Airsoft is it's not technically air soft. Even though paintballs are... well you know what i mean. I believe Airsoft is pretty fun just for being more realistic with guns and reloading and stuff. Takes awhile to reload tho >.< Really kills you sometimes.

Where do you live?? We can't help you unless you tell us at least the state where you live. Laws are different in each state. In some places there are age requirements, and in others, there are total restrictions on them.
