I would like to know what do you like/dislike about football(soccer). (I have created this topic, because i'm curios of knowing, what american people thinks about european football)
and most play in the EPL I love Football and have been playing it since 11 this morning (its now almost 2 in the afternoon) and I'm about to go out and play some more. Unfortuneatly I'm shit at it
Robinson is fat, James is old (and an idiot at times) and carson makes to many mistakes. Kirkland looks ok as does Green and foster. Not that this is a competition though given the choice I would go with the England selection but Friedel is dang good.
I really don't mind if people hate soccer or not. Even tho football and soccer seem like they got mixed up. >.< DOH! But i honestly like Soccer. Watching it is boring tho.
people dont worry. i am in U.S and i love soccer. Once i am old enough, i would be the captain and make my team work their butt off. after that, world cup will be a peice of cake
Im 100% with you there Sonam but it would take a miracle to make USA football champion.
If it caught on there in a big way I wouldn't be surprised if they became one of the top nations. They have such a large population and enough resources at their disposal to pretty much dominate any game they wish to.
Thats why it is places like the US and China that dominate in the olympics etc. they have the population that means at least a few will be good at a sport. In the whole of the US there must be 17 brilliant world class footballers then again the US at the top of the football world rankings would be annoying.
@Gagamen: lol... Yep we are lazy, but about half of my school is obsessed with soccer/football. Personally, I'm a good goalkeeper...
In general, we like crushing each other's heads in American Football (don't know why). For some reason or other people here call it a "wimpy game" even though you can get your legs broken quite easily from an improper slide tackle...
Interestingly enough, both my older brother and myself are good at soccer. I get goalkeeping skills and he is awesome at offense. (He won MVP for the state, and he also was the starting center midfielder in college as a freshman...)
