im excited for both im a huge fan of the halo series so naturaly i already pre-ordered but i think call of duty is going to blow away the already awsome titles. Cant wait to to try out the firefight mode but disappointed that there isnt an actual match making. Also cant wait to see the new perks that are coming out. so im just ganna have to say im equally excited about both.

CoD MW2 - So far it seems awesome even though I don't know that much about it.

Halo ODST (or recon whatever it is called now) seems exactly the same as all the other Halo games. You will probably still have a shield, a health bar and somehow be able to pick up things that aren't humanly possible. Only difference is that they will say you are a soldier rather than a spartan.

CoD MW2 wins not because I know it is good but because Halo will probably be bad.

there isnt going to be a shield or be able to pick huge stuff up its a complete differnt game. theres no spartans, new weapons, and a new look its ganna be sweet

Modern Warfare 2 fo sho'. they dropped the Call of Duty name for the sequel, so there is no actual COD MW2, its just MW2

i know that it is just because some people might not know what MW2 means the COD is just for clarification

COD, because it's a whole new game, and it looks spectacular. Halo ODST looks a little too much like Halo 3, but with a different visor and a scilenced SMG. I'll probibly end up buying both though.

ODST, because I found COD4 really boring, and MW2 looks like it's just gonna be more the same...

halo 3 odst is gonna be a really badass game. and i takes place in the middle of halo 2 and halo 3. which is awesome cause that was the best place. and its the same thing that they did with star wars the clone wars the animated movie. but any way thats awesome and you get the halo reach beta if you pre-order the game. people are now problaly gonna read the halo books because of the halo reach game.

call of duty modern warfare 2
is gonna be so completely amazing that people's heads will explode just by looking at it. im more exicited about this game than halo 3 odst , but with the addition of reach idk anymore. its a tossup between the two. but if i had to pick one it would be. cod:mw2!!!

By looking at them, I'd say Modern Warfare 2. MW2 has alot of stuff going for it- It's present day war with present day guns, gadgets, aircraft, ex. Personally, I think there are way to many WW2 games, and I think Call Of Duty World at War was a mistake. Most gamers agree with me, so there is alot of hype for MW2 not only because of the time setting, but also because Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was so amazing both in game play in graphics. From the released trailers, MW2 looks like its going to be just as good as COD4- if not better.

Now for Halo 3 ODST. I personally like the Halo games alot. I find that the are fun to play, and that the worlds are great to explore. But, with Halo 3 ODST being the 5th Halo installment (including Halo Wars), I would have to admit the series is getting kind of old. From what I've seen so far, I the story line has nothing whatsoever to do with Master Chief, and aside from that, it doesn't seem very exciting. From the trailers it looks like game play is going to be the same with possible a few minor changes. Don't get me wrong- the Halo series is great, but it looks like Halo 3 ODST is lacking any major scene or game play changes, making it pretty much the same as the other Halo games.

All in all, I would say that Modern Warfare 2's future looks extremely bright, while Halo 3 ODST is receiving considerably less attention. Still- neither of the games have come out yet, so it is too early to judge, but based on the available trailers and information available, I would think that Modern Warfare 2 seems to be a cut above Halo 3 ODST.
