Morrowwind. Daggerfall's writing wasn't so great & it's pretty dated by now. Redguard wasn't so hot & abandoned a lot of the RPG elements in favor of making an action game. Oblivion, while very good, doesn't really incorporate the main character into the plot. You're sort of the chosen one's best buddy. You could have been anybody.

In Morrowwind however, you are the integral piece of the puzzle, the heart of the story. It makes your avatar feel important, a necessity. The plot is what makes it shine over all of the other elder scrolls games.

Oblivion. I never figured out how to play Morrowwind. Stupid difficulty slider. Besides, Oblvion has epic graphics and gameplay, and seeing as I've never been one for plots anyway, that's out of the question.

Oblivion...when I firstly saw Morrowind, for me It Kinda sucked...No offence, but for me, yes. The graphics in Morrowind were not better than Oblivion. But Oblivion took me into the Real RPG World, with great Gameplay, and Graphics, even...the only retarded thing in Oblivion is the Jumping...it is Retarded, but I still Like Oblivion Best!

Oblivion is my favorite out of the two I've played. I haven't been able to find the first Elder Scrolls or Daggerfall. I don't know what it was with Morrowind, but it just didn't draw me into the series. I didn't even buy Oblivion at first, I originally just played my brother's file.

Have you ever seen jumping in Morrowind? or even walking?

I've played oblivion as the first game of the TES series. I played Morrowind once and after a hour i was bored as hell. With oblivion i really get the exciting of sneaking and killing my first goblin by stabbing him in the back (Tutorial)

IMO Oblivion is the best, but with Morrowind coming in a close second. The graphics, music, and some aspects of the gameplay are much better in Oblivion than in Morrowind, but the plotline is streaks ahead of the Oblivion story. Also IMO Oblivion has the option to completely ditch the story line, and then be able to pick it up when you want to. This, along with other factors makes Oblivion a better game for me.

Oblivion: Good gameplay and graphics. However, the story was weak-you weren't that integral to the whole thing except you

SPOILER

became the Hero of Kvatch and everything STATUE FTW! xDD

SPOILER END

It was quite fun and I think I prefer Oblivion because Morrowinds graphics make me cringe after I've played Oblivion for a bit :P

Morrowind: Greatest storyline ever, being the Neravarine and everything was all exciting but it needed horses so all that annoying jumping part wouldn't be so tarded. I also loved when really near the beginning, you found a scroll to jump so high you'd kill yourself afterwards xD Minutes of fun with that. Spotted three towns in one jump =D

Morrowind. Oblivion felt more like a medieval timeframe and the teleport to anywhere in the world ruined the immersion

Morrowind has much better game time because you actually have to figure things out your self instead of fast travel here and follow the marker oblivion was way too easy (and no i didn't touch the difficulty) morrowinds main quest line was boring and repetitive but it had good side quests oblivion was a great graphics upgrade but there's a lot more bugs (floating trees, grass going through rocks, you can walk through walls) morrowind had good hidden items unique things.

i like morrowind better i played it for about 400 hours at least.
but oblivion was fun and i played it for at least 200 hours.

and yea i have no life.
