Don't worry I'm not going to be saying that Call of duty four is better than call of duty 5, I'm going to say that Call of duty three and two are better than both call of duty four and five!
Don't get angry at me, get angry at me after playing both of those games for a week, I personally felt that call of duty four and five focus way too much unlocking things and not much else, and two and three have much better maps!
The first one and its expansion pack, United Offensive. Still the best multiplayer around, based on skill, not who can camp the best or unlock the most weapons. The campaign was also groundbreaking for the genre.
WaW and cod 4 were the best in the series great graphics and really good gameplay i like 4 because of the fact that they changed it up and made it modern i like waw for zombies and just pure fun P.S. the whole series was really fun
Wow half of this paragraph is wrong and the other half is correct. First, the reason people HATE W@W is for 3 reasons Tanks, Dogs, WW2. People were really upset that after Modern Warfare's greatness that Treyarch went back to a WW2 game. And Treyarch and Infinity Ward are both owned by Activision (Activision is their publisher so they clear all the games.) Finally, the reason that there is no CoD in the title is because it would be to long of a title and Modern Warfare 2 would be easier to say than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It was never confirmed nor denied that Modern Warfare would become its own series.

Call of Duty 4 is easily my favorite Video game for three reasons: First is the multilayer network. It loads online games fast, has little lag, and has great tactical maps. My Second reason is the game play. Almost everything is adjustable, their is a better, easy to use controller setup using the left trigger as zoom, and the game play in general is pretty realistic. My third and final reason that CoD 4 is my favorite game is the campaign. It is smooth and exhilarating. You never want to put the controller down.
Also i would like to say something to the people who say, "this is a worse game because it's not realistic." Well I think, if a game is more fun when it is not realistic, then that is fine with me! I just want to have a good time.
