Personally, I think Pokemon was original when it first came out, but now it is a broken shell of what it used to be. Now it is overexploited on cartoons and games and is frankly boring now.

Back on topic, Red is better than Blue because you can atch Growlithe, and Silver over Gold because Lugia would pwn Ho-oh anyday :P

I never personally had either one (douchebag brother wouldn't let me play his), but i did have Yellow, the companion limited edition. Yellow was an epic win. pikachu right off the bat. I fell away from pokemon after the original series and games, but i dabble.

And if I recall correctly, Ho-oh can have thunder, which would pwn lugia easily.

Grrr.... Still, I prefer ho-oh.
But mewtwo would pwn both.

Mewtwo has more than 300 of speed, at least mine has.
And with both surf and thunder, lugia and ho-oh would die.

The first pokemon games are way better imo. (red&blue) The newer ones have really strange pokemon and there are like >9000 of them. D:

Mewtwo would kill it easily.

I have played all of them except the newest one, the one on the wii, Ruby, and Emerald. I also agree with The_B_Man 100%.
